Fraser Stryker has an extensive commercial litigation practice, handling virtually every type of commercial dispute. We have been involved in the defense of RICO claims against directors and officers of financial institutions and have defended multimillion dollar lender liability lawsuits, including the alleged fraudulent transfer of debtors' assets. We have defended outside attorneys in a variety of malpractice actions, including the alleged sale of unregistered securities and claims of securities fraud. We have been involved in significant Sanitary Improvement District litigation ranging from the validity of warrants issued by the districts to contractual matters. We regularly participate in large commercial receiverships and foreclosures. As general counsel for the largest utility company in Nebraska, Fraser Stryker has litigated a variety of commercial issues ranging from rate structure to eminent domain. We have been involved in litigation as a result of the dissolution of partnerships as well as disputes between shareholders of closely-held corporations, with issues ranging from the validity of incomplete agreements to the impact of breach of fiduciary duties owed by corporate officers and directors under stock purchase agreements. Fraser Stryker litigates issues of every nature, including those arising under the Uniform Commercial Code for sole proprietorships and small to medium-sized businesses.
