Purpose of the Scholarships
The general purpose
of the Fraser Stryker Diversity Scholarship Program
is to provide (a) financial assistance in the
form of college tuition and (b) paid student internships
to students of African-American, Asian, Latino,
and Native-American origins from low income families
in the Omaha metro area who are interested in
pursuing a career in law.
General
Description of the Scholarships
The
scholarships are granted to the recipients, who
are designated as "Fraser Stryker Scholars"
("Scholars"), for the purpose of defraying
the costs associated with their college education.
Each scholarship is in the amount of $2,500 per
academic year, subject to renewal at the discretion
of the Fraser Stryker Diversity Scholarship Committee.
The scholarship funds will be made available to
the Scholar or to the educational institution
on behalf of the Scholar, depending on the educational
institution's policy respecting the form and procedure
for payment. The scholarships will be available
without regard to whether the Scholar has received
additional scholarship funds. In addition to receiving

to participate in a paid internship at Fraser
Stryker during the Scholar's summer college breaks.
