Adam centers his legal practice on assisting clients through all phases of estate planning and trust and estate administration. His clients include business owners, farmers, and other high-net-worth individuals, as well as young couples and other clients who may not have any prior estate planning experience.

As an advocate for his clients, Adam employs a team-based approach by partnering with his clients’ accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to create complex planning strategies to limit tax consequences and facilitate asset transfer.

Taking a pragmatic approach to his practice, Adam develops practical solutions to address his clients’ unique concerns, both when developing their estate plans and when helping them navigate the estate and trust administration process. He understands that his clients are often faced with frustrating situations, which is why he focuses on developing solutions rather than highlighting problems. Recognizing that estate planning involves more than drafting a will or trust, Adam looks at an estate plan holistically and advises his clients on the related matters that are impacted by their estate plan, including real estate transfers and business succession planning.

Adam realizes that when the time comes to administer an estate, families can often feel overwhelmed by the process. Whether he is advising families on their estate and inheritance tax obligations or helping a client navigate the court system through a probate proceeding, Adam has experience counseling clients through every phase of the estate and trust administration process. If disputes arise in the estate context, Adam also has substantial experience helping clients navigate the difficult world of estate litigation.
