Ally counsels both business clients and individuals.  Ally primarily advises businesses in employment and non-profit matters. Ally’s goal when working with employers is to minimize exposure to potential claims by providing timely and thoughtful advice on employment practices that help avoid lawsuits and administrative charges.  Not all claims can be avoided and Ally provides defense to employers when issues arise.  Ally has experience in responding to NEOC and EEOC charges as well as working with the Fraser Stryker employment team to defend employment-related lawsuits.

Ally also helps employers with entity formation. After initial formation, Ally works with employers to ensure employees and contractors are properly classified, to ensure that thoughtful policies and procedures have been properly implemented, and to provide training on how best to avoid discrimination and harassment in the workplace.  For non-profit clients, Ally has experience helping clients apply for tax-exempt status with the IRS.

Ally counsels individuals who are experiencing divorce. Ally assists with the legal aspects of divorce such as asset allocation, child support, alimony, and distribution of property, while acknowledging that the legal issues in a divorce are intertwined with emotional issues that arise when two individuals dissolve their marriage.  Ally focuses on finding creative solutions for her clients aimed at lessening the emotional burdens of divorce and parenting with an ex-spouse, while also staunchly advocating for her client’s most important positions.

Individuals who benefit from having an attorney from the Fraser Stryker Complex Divorce Team, include business owners, individuals who have left positions outside the home to parent full-time, and individuals with complicated assets.

Ally also works with clients with other family law matters such as guardianships, estate planning, and prenuptial agreements.
