Emily M. O’Neal advises employers on matters surrounding labor and employment law issues and provides counsel to companies and individuals on complex litigation matters surrounding businesses, products liability, and professional negligence defense. Respectful of her clients’ wants and needs, Emily collaborates with clients to guide them through difficult or challenging situations.

Emily strives to bring her best to every matter. With a curious mind and intuitive nature, Emily approaches each case with a problem-solving attitude and listens carefully to discover details that can have a positive impact on each case. She takes great pride in providing effective legal representation that can significantly impact her client’s life or business.

Emily received her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2022.  During law school, she volunteered as a Student Attorney at the School of Law’s Domestic Violence Clinic and was a Team Leader at the SPEAK Pro Bono program. Prior to law school, Emily received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with minors in Business and Communication Studies, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While attending UNL, Emily was a member of the University’s soccer team.

Passionate about serving the mission of the Special Olympics organization, Emily has been a volunteer coach for almost 10 years. In addition to her volunteer work, Emily enjoys running, listening to podcasts, exploring new restaurants with friends, and spending time with her cat Ruthie, named after Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
