Fraser Stryker is pleased to announce that it will once again award two college-level scholarships in 2012 through the Fraser Stryker Diversity Scholarship Program. The purpose of the Program is to provide college tuition assistance for students of African-American, Asian, Latino and Native-American origins from low-income families in the metro area interested in a career in law. In addition, scholarship recipients will be provided the opportunity to have a paid internship at the firm.
Fraser Stryker wants to continue to help talented students from diverse backgrounds who need financial help to fulfill their dream of working in the legal field. This program provides financial aid for college-bound students and also gives Fraser Stryker Scholars the opportunity to learn about the practice of law by working in the firm during the summer months.
The deadline to apply for the 2012 Fraser Stryker Diversity Scholarships is March 9, 2012. Applications are available in the counselor’s office at all metro high schools and on the firm’s website, www.fraserstryker.com. Each scholarship will be in the amount of $2,500 per academic year and can be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment to further their education.
Formed in 1898, Fraser Stryker has grown to become a nationally recognized law firm of 50 lawyers who represent local, national and multinational clients in complex business transactions and litigation matters. Fraser Stryker attorneys participate actively in a wide array of community organizations.
