On January 1st, 2025, Fraser Stryker PC LLO elected four exceptional attorneys to partner at the Firm. T.W. Huntington Jr. shares how a personal experience with estate law shaped his career and guides his client-focused approach.

Q: Tell us about your background and what inspired you to pursue a career in law?

A: When my grandfather passed away, he had a somewhat messy estate. I worked with the attorney that handled the probate seeing his ability to help my family navigate the estate administration process pushed me to pursue law school and becoming an attorney.

Q: If you did not become an attorney, what career might you have pursued

A: Likely something in finance like a financial advisor or certified financial planner.

Q: What has been the most rewarding aspect of your legal career so far?

A: Creating peace of mind for clients either through their estate plans, helping them through stressful times either following the loss of a loved one or when trying to buy or sell a business.

Q: How do you approach building strong relationships with your clients?

A: I am honest and transparent about the issues and the process. I believe setting expectations up front and communicating any changes to those expectations is the best way to make sure I am aligned with the client and his/her/their goals.

Q: What book, podcast, quote, or movie has had a lasting impact on you?

A: It’s nice to be important but more important to be nice.
