McKayla Celis focuses her legal practice on business and corporate law, real estate, and estate planning, with additional experience in immigration matters. She works with clients to navigate complex legal issues and develop practical solutions tailored to their individual needs and goals.

McKayla believes effective legal guidance begins with understanding the bigger picture. Approachable and dependable, McKayla strives to make complex legal matters easier to understand while keeping clients informed and confident in the decisions they make. Her goal is not simply to address the legal issue at hand, but to help clients find solutions that support their broader objectives.

Education and Early Experience

Before beginning her legal career, McKayla worked for five years as a judicial assistant for a judge in Utah. That experience sparked her desire to become a lawyer and gave her valuable insight into the legal system and the importance of careful, detail-oriented work. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law in 2026, where she received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Research and Writing, Civil Procedure, and Property. As a senior certified student attorney in the Creighton School of Law Bankruptcy Clinic, McKayla gained hands-on experience assisting clients with their legal matters and developing practical solutions to complex issues.

McKayla earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management from Utah State University in 2017. Her background in business and human resources provides a strong foundation for her work with businesses, organizations, and individuals navigating legal and transactional matters.

Outside the Office

Outside of her legal practice, McKayla enjoys spending time with her husband and son, playing pickleball, working on puzzles and paint-by-number projects, and following March Madness.
