In this spotlight, we’re excited to share the experiences and insights of one of this year’s 2L participants, Abigail Bergstrom. A law student at Creighton University School of Law, Abigail is currently serving as the Managing Editor of the Creighton Law Review, Volume 59. During the 2024–2025 academic year, she served as a 2L representative for both the Black Law Student Association and Law Ambassadors, and remains an active member of each. Abigail is also a two-time competition winner, earning First Place in both the Creighton 2024 Moot Court Competition and the 2025 Trial Team Competition, where she was named Outstanding Oralist.

Abigail earned her Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications, cum laude, from Liberty University. She earned the title of Miss Oregon 2021 and finished 4th runner-up to Miss America in 2022. Abigail spent her year of service as Miss Oregon, focusing on the social impact initiative “Generation Next: Equity for the Underserved” and serving as a national ambassador for the National Center for Children in Poverty.
