Amelia V. Prickett Wiesen advises clients on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and business transactions, particularly in regulated industries such as energy, renewables, manufacturing, and agribusiness. Drawing on years of in-house experience, she helps clients align legal strategies with company goals to support growth and mitigate risk.

Prior to joining Fraser Stryker, Amelia worked as Vice President of Compliance & Transactions for a publicly traded renewable fuels company and as Assistant General Counsel for an industrial manufacturing business. These roles sharpened her ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice.

Corporate Transactions & Risk Management

Amelia brings a business-minded perspective to corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. She advises on contract structures that reduce risk exposure and support long-term objectives. Her advice goes beyond closing the deal – she also helps clients put the right contracts and processes in place to make the transition work smoothly. Clients rely on her to navigate legal risks, balance compliance with commercial realities, and support day-to-day business needs.

With experience in regulatory matters involving the EPA, CARB, OSHA, CFTC, FERC, and SEC, Amelia helps companies develop effective, scalable compliance programs. She also guides companies through regulatory investigations, inquiries, and enforcement actions with clarity and composure. Known for translating complex regulatory frameworks into actionable guidance, Amelia helps clients understand what the rules require and how to operate confidently within them.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys riding her quarter horse (a retired barrel racer and mounted patrol drop-out), tackling home renovation projects, and watching Husker volleyball with her husband.
