Fraser Stryker Announces 2009 Diversity Scholarship Recipients

Fraser Stryker is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2009 Fraser Stryker Diversity Scholarship Program.

 
 

The scholarship recipients are Alicia Amedee, graduating from Northwest High School, and Steven A. Lee, graduating from B High School.

Alicia Amedee is the daughter of Ursula Amedee of Omaha. Alicia is a member of the Northwest High School International Club; is a member of the Omaha Public Schools High School Minority Leaders Student Achievement Task Force; and has participated in high school basketball, softball, and tennis. Her honors and achievements include being on the Northwest Honor Roll, receiving Varsity letters, and receiving the African American Academic Achievement Award this year. Alicia plans to attend Creighton University. Her intended university major is business administration as part of the Creighton University College of Business 3-3 law program.

Steven A. Lee is the son of Steven and Teresa Lee of Omaha. Steven is an assistant editor of the Orator (the school newspaper) and has participated in Minority Leaders, Latino Leaders, and DECA at B. His honors and achievements include graduating in the top ten percent of his class. Steven plans to attend either the University of Nebraska-Lincoln or the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His intended university major is pre-law.

Fraser Stryker hosted a reception for the scholarship recipients, their families, employees of the law firm, and other invited guests on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at 5:00 pm in the OPPD Atrium.
