
Emma Collins
A student at the University of Iowa College of Law, Emma Collins is a member of the Organization of Women Law Students and Staff (OWLSS). During her first year, she received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence in Contracts. Emma will be serving as a writing center tutor at the law school starting in the fall of 2025.
Before law school, Emma graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, with honors. During undergrad, she volunteered as a Student Conduct Board Officer for the University’s Student Affairs Office and a Medical Scribe for the Kearney HelpCare Clinic. Emma also gained legal experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant for Fraser Stryker prior to starting law school.

Josephine (Josie) Medill
Studying at the University of Notre Dame Law School, Josephine (Josie) Medill is a member of the Women’s Legal Forum.
Josie graduated from Kansas State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy, summa cum laude, with a minor in French. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa while at KSU and was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. As a student, she was on the KSU Mock Trial Team, serving as Vice President and member of the Travel Competition Team for four years. Josie also served as the Academic Achievement Director, Historian & Heritage Chair, and Wildcat Request Live Dance Competition Chair for her sorority. She gained legal experience as an Undergraduate Intern and Full-Time Volunteer Intern for the Tenant Assistance Project (TAP).

Cooper Nally
Pursuing his J.D. at Creighton University School of Law, Cooper Nally gained professional experience before law school working as a District Technician for the Nodaway County Soil & Water NRCS, where he collaborated with farmers and landowners to implement sustainable practices.
While attending Northwest Missouri State University, Cooper earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, cum laude, with a minor in Sports Psychology. He was a member of Psi Chi Member–International Honor Society in Psychology, and served as a Peer Mentor and SOAR Leader for the Student Success Center. Cooper also volunteered for several years with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Maryville, Missouri.

Ellen Rogers
Attending Creighton University School of Law, Ellen Rogers is a member of the Women’s Law Student Association and Law Ambassadors. Before starting law school, Ellen obtained experience working in the education field.
Ellen graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, cum laude. She was on the Dean’s List, First Honors, every semester, and was one of 100 student members of the College Honors Program. Ellen also served as a New Student Orientation Leader, a Counseling Outreach Peer Educators (COPE) Officer, and spent time as a Legal Intern for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

Sam Spethman
Joining Fraser Stryker from the University of Nebraska College of Law, Sam Spethman is the Vice Dean of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and serves as an Inclusive Leadership Fellow.
Prior to starting law school, Sam graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication Studies and a minor in Public Policy Analysis Certification. He graduated as a Chancellor’s Scholar. Sam served on the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska (ASUN Student Government) for four years in various roles, including Speaker of the Senate and Director of ASUN’s Environmental Leadership Program. He was inducted into Mortar Board Honor Society, where he served as Recruitment Chair, and was a member of the Daily Nebraskan’s Board of Diversity and Inclusion.
About the Summer Associate Program
The Fraser Stryker Summer Associate program is designed to provide law students with exposure to diverse, substantive legal areas, as well as the individual practice styles of various attorneys. Fraser Stryker provides our Summer Associates with real-world experience, feedback and mentoring, and time devoted to community involvement.
