Big projects usually involve different and unique mixes of financial, commercial, legal, interpersonal, and practical issues that must be sorted through and prioritized. He always employs a “team” approach, working effectively with key business and family members, other professional advisors, and including other expert members of the Fraser legal team. Typical of competitive and busy people, Bob likes to get things done, knowing there are always more challenges ahead.
Examples of a few of his projects include the structuring of the public-private partnerships in Omaha which formed and today govern Omaha’s arena, convention center, baseball stadium, and major sporting events; multigenerational family business successions; business acquisitions and sales; business break-ups; and nonprofit organizational representation and “turn-arounds.”
Bob was a contributing author to the 2010 “Inside the Minds” series on Family and Business Succession Planning. Among his current community involvements are leadership in Omaha’s sporting events scene; and he leads the ultra complex Tri-Faith Initiative, the intentional co-location of three houses of worship and placement of an Interfaith Center amongst them.
