Fraser Stryker proudly welcomes attorney Amelia V. Prickett Wiesen to the Firm’s Business & Corporate practice. With in-house counsel experience and a focus on compliance, governance, energy, and transactional matters, Amelia enhances the team’s ability to deliver tailored legal solutions for companies operating in highly regulated industries.
“After spending the majority of my career in-house, where I was focused on the needs and challenges of a single organization, I’m looking forward to working with a broader range of clients,” said Amelia. “I’m excited for the variety that comes with serving different industries and for the opportunity to bring a practical, business-oriented perspective to help clients navigate complex legal issues.”
Amelia advises on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, focusing on strategies that reduce risk and support long-term business goals. She also helps companies implement post-transaction contracts and processes that support operational continuity. In the regulatory space, Amelia provides clear, actionable guidance on compliance matters involving agencies such as the EPA, CARB, OSHA, CFTC, FERC, and SEC, helping clients navigate complex requirements and enforcement with confidence.
Before joining the Firm, Amelia served as Vice President of Compliance & Transactions for a publicly traded renewable fuels company and as Assistant General Counsel at an industrial manufacturing business. These leadership roles sharpened her ability to provide clear, business-focused legal advice that supports both operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Outside the office, Amelia enjoys working on home renovation projects, riding her quarter horse, and cheering on the Husker volleyball team with her husband.
